Looking for the perfect Spain holiday beach?

Nerja, on Spain´s Costa del Sol, has 13 kilometres of beautiful beaches for the perfect Spanish beaches holiday .... but El Salon beach has to be one of my favourite Nerja beaches.

Although the beach itself is stunning, just check out the photo below .....

So, what is?

What makes this beach that little bit special is the fact that if you don't know about it and how to get to it ..... you would never discover it!

Even some of the regular visitors to Nerja don't know this beach exists!

And I think that adds to the charm of this little Nerja beach.

But before I tell you how to get there .... let me tell you that this beach does not have a restaurant or beach bar ... however, it does have a small kiosk where you can purchase refreshments.

Getting there

You can only access this beach on foot from town.

You'll need to make your way to the square just in front of the San Salvador church at the entrance of the Nerja Balcon de Europa.

There's a narrow cobble street called Calle Salon just off the square. If you are standing at the steps of the church, with your back toward the church, walk forward about 15 or so metres and Calle Salon will be just off to your right.

This narrow street will lead you down to the beach, passing Tobosa Apartments, and Cochran´s bar on your right as you walk down.

And what a nice surprise when you turn the corner and get a glimpse of this pretty Spain holiday beach and the inviting blue water!
